How does Review My eLearning handle notifications?

Users of Review My eLearning may receive emails and notifications for both updates and action requests. Notifications for updates are customizable and opt-in for each individual course, while action request notifications are sent immediately. 

Note: Reviewers do not need to create an account with Review My eLearning, and without an account, users will not receive notifications. 

Action Request Notifications:

  • Reviewers receive notifications for Requests to Review a course
  • Developers receive notifications when they are assigned as a Course Developer and when a Reviewer has completed a review
  • Uploaders get an immediate Your upload is complete notification
  • Owners will receive notifications for any actions taken on courses within their Organization, including but not limited to those listed above


Update Notifications:

  • Update Notifications may include new and updated comments, discussions on comments, and comment assignments. 
  • Owners, Uploaders, and Developers will automatically be subscribed to update notifications for a course once they have been assigned to it.
  • Reviewers may subscribe to update notifications by checking the box on the course's dashboard. 
All Users may subscribe/unsubscribe from a course's updates on its dashboard and control the frequency of update notifications from their Profile.
